Tetherloom

Tetherloom does not directly collect personal information from players. We do not ask for your name, email address, location, account, or any other identifying information. The game uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded ads, and Google may collect or process certain data as described in Google's policies.

The game saves progress locally on your device, including your best score, which levels you have completed and how many stars each one earned, your selected visual theme, your music and haptics switches, and your daily challenge record (best score, current streak, and which day you last finished). This local gameplay data never leaves your device: it is not sent to our servers, is not accessible to us, and is removed when you uninstall the game.

Tetherloom uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded ads. There is a single ad format — a rewarded ad, shown only when you deliberately choose to watch one in exchange for continuing a run after losing. There are no banners and no ads that interrupt play. AdMob may collect or process data such as device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, app activity related to ads, and other technical information in order to provide, limit, measure, and improve ads. Where required by law (for example under the GDPR), the game uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Aside from Google AdMob, Tetherloom does not use analytics tools or third-party SDKs that collect user data. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect any information ourselves. However, to serve and measure ads, the Google AdMob SDK transmits the data listed above — including your advertising identifier — to Google and its advertising partners, who handle it under their own privacy policies. In the terminology of Google Play’s Data safety section, this counts as sharing. We do not share player data with any other external parties.

Tetherloom does not operate its own servers for player data and does not transmit gameplay progress to us. Local progress remains on your device. Advertising-related data is handled by Google AdMob according to Google's security and privacy practices.

Local game progress remains on your device until you delete the app or clear the app data. We do not store this data on our servers. Advertising-related data is retained and deleted according to Google's policies.

Tetherloom is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising data, if any, is handled by Google AdMob according to Google's policies and applicable law.

If this Privacy Policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the game after changes means you accept the updated policy.
